"Connecting & disconnecting, stopping and unstopping.  Refiguring the disfigured.  Art works by reworking & reinterpreting the infinitely complex matrix that moves around us in space and memories of spaces.  Pulsating skins & repeating pathways that live on various levels are what my paintings explore. It is the processes that leave their traces, scars, and tattoos on a landscape that pulsates from deep to shallow. This marring disfigures and refigures and becomes part of the figure.  The forms interact to go beyond their primary language to something more useless, beautiful, and relational."
