My work in sculpture is a journey. It is an exploration of form, material and the human essence. This trek reveals an organic mood by using simple elements derived from the earth. These elements are steel, stone, and nature’s own color palette.
I search for the artist within.
These “constructions” are an investigation of the capacity of my chosen materials. This never-ending process drives me to create works of art that evoke a sense of nature, sensuality, and tension. I strive to give life to these abstracted natural forms.
My goal is to provide the viewer with a three-dimensional experience, an encounter that will provide a connection to an emotional state. I intend for my sculpture to create an interaction with the viewer.
