By taking an everyday 3-D object,
a book or magazine, newspaper, etc. and applying it to a 2-D surface, in order,
and in its entirety, I have arrived at what is perhaps a new kind of still-life,
perhaps a new kind of realism. I've done away with the paint and
brush and the idea of the re-creation of subject matter.
